It’s so nice to meet you!

I graduated from Duncan Brothers School of Hair Design in 2006 and worked in Lawton for about 9 years. In 2015, I had the privilege of opening my very own salon, Shear Vintage, in Geronimo, OK. Owning my own salon helped me grow, both personally and professionally. During this time, I was a SURFACE® Educator and a SURFACE® Exclusive Salon. I had amazing opportunities to attend training events in Chicago, IL and Omaha, NE and I received several certifications. I have used this knowledge to further my career, enhance my skills, and provide my clients with a great client experience. In 2018, my family and I moved to Davis, OK to be closer to my husband’s workplace. I worked part time here in Sulphur and traveled back and forth to Geronimo to continue serving my clients there. At the end of 2019, I sold my property and said goodbye to my little salon; however, I rented a booth in a salon in Walters, OK and was able to serve my clients there for another 3 years.

I went full time here in Sulphur and became a part of the Painted Pretty crew in October of 2022.

My favorite thing about my job is the amazing relationships I’ve built with my clients and coworkers! My clients have become like family to me and many of them from the Geronimo/Walters area have followed me here to Sulphur. That means the world to me! My coworkers give me a hard time…all the time. Well… I usually start it, but that’s neither here nor there! I love them like sisters!

My favorite services to perform are Brazilian Blowouts and Extensions. I love to learn new tricks and techniques and stay up to date on trending services and styles through videos, classes, conferences, and from other stylists.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll most likely find me with my husband and 2 children, at church, reading a book, or at one of my kids sporting events. In addition to school sports, both of my kids participate in Cross Country Dirt Bike & ATV Racing. They are pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. My fur babies also deserve an honorable mention, Bossy, the brat, and Sparty Boy, the sweetest boy in the whole world! They are the cutest mini Aussies EVER!
