Hello! I’m Brittany…

I’m so glad you’re here!

My dream of opening a salon and spa started many years ago.

I graduated from Paul Mitchell School in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 2014. I began working in a salon with my best friend of 30+ years, Bethany. She took me under her wing and showed me the ropes and really helped me to understand the ins and outs of running a business. I had the luxury of opening my own salon in my home in 2017 and developed a love for the private suite setting. The suite setting offered a safe space and more personable experience for my clients. I decided after some time to move back into town and into a private suite. I remained there until I moved into the quaint little studio that would become part of the home of Painted Pretty Salon & Spa Suites!

I was presented with an opportunity to partner with my good friend Samantha to purchase the building and open my very own suite salon. Together we have learned and grown so much. My goal for this space is to not only create a higher end salon experience, but to also build a team of powerful, ambitious, strong, smart, and spiritual women who bring a diverse set of skills we can all learn from. Just as iron sharpens iron, we should inspire each other to be the best we can be. Each suite inside the salon provides the stylist, artist, technician, or nurse the ability to be authentic and creative while showcasing their unique talents and abilities. It has been my absolute pleasure to provide a beautiful space for our clients, to serve our community and bring luxury services to our small town!

…and to think, it all started over queso and margaritas!

I specialize in Lived in Colors and Bridal Makeup. My favorite thing about my job is the incredible transformations and the relationships I’ve built with my clients. Of course, I would not be where I am without them! I deeply care for each and every one of them and I cherish the lifelong friendships we have built over the years. When I’m not at work, you can find me with my husband and 3 boys, at crossfit, at church, or shopping. Fitness has become a huge part of my life - it literally keeps me sane! I’m a true entrepreneur - I’m always looking for ways to improve or new things to add to our portfolio of services. I’ve been to several conferences, events , and shows that have inspired me to dream bigger, such as Caper Event-Las Vegas, Monations, FCC Women’s Conferences, the hair shows in Dallas, TX and the Ardmore Bridal Show. I’ve taken classes taught by sought after stylists in the industry, such as Shelby Blankenship at Blankenship Salon in Broken Arrow, OK and I always do my best to stay open minded when it comes to trending techniques and services. I subscribe to industry specific groups and publications, such as Behind the Chair and Blonde Chronicles. Using all of these resources and genuinely listening to my clients has allowed me to further enhance my craft .

At the end of the day, my goal is to be better than I was yesterday. I’ve learned the importance of a solid foundation and placing God in the center of it all. It is Him that has carried me, sustained me, and propelled me into this amazing life. God gets all the glory!

Matthew 7:24-25
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
