Becoming a stylist has been a dream of mine my whole life!  From cutting my Barbie’s hair to braiding my friends hair and trying to make everyone beautiful all of the time… to say the least, it’s my passion! 

It took me a while to get here though!  I previously worked in customer service for a telecommunications company for 15 years.  During my tenure there, I gained a ton of business knowledge and learned how much I loved working with people.  I was promoted several times, starting out at as the mail girl, then up to cashier, CS associate, CS trainer, and finally CS manager.  I managed the office in Stillwater and was the supervisor of 4 employees there.  I learned so much in my managerial role and I loved my job; however, the longing to become a stylist remained. 

In 2021, I experienced the loss of a very close friend at a very young age.  I was in shock and I stepped back to take a long, hard look at my life and realized that I needed to take a chance on my dreams!

I attended Paul Mitchell – The School in Norman and graduated in April of 2023.  I formed lifelong friendships and took classes from some amazing guest artists!  I also obtained a special certificate for being at the top of my class, was President of the Student Council there, and organized several events to raise money for the school.

Not long after graduation, I had the amazing opportunity to have my very own private suite and join the Painted Pretty Crew!  FINALLY!  I am doing what I love!  Like I said, making people feel amazing is my passion and being a cosmetologist gives me the ability to do just that! 

I stay up to date on all of the latest techniques and trends and I have some pretty awesome coworkers to learn from and collaborate with.  Lived in Blonde is my favorite service to perform, as I love seeing the color contrasts this service provides while keeping a more natural look and feel.  I’m also a certified Lash Technician!  I love enhancing natural lashes with a Lift & Tint!  I also love that lash extensions give many women the ability to have a polished look with minimal makeup and they give other women the final *chef’s kiss* touch to an amazing makeup look!

When I’m not working, you can find me hanging out with my honey and 3 kiddos – Mykell, Ryder, and Kaiser.  Mykell is a senior this year, so her activities keep us busy.  Ryder is a golfer and Kyser is a gamer.  When we aren’t busy with school and sports activities, we are probably riding the Harley or hanging out at home with our fur babies – Jax and Hemi.
